July 6, 2012 was a SPECIAL DAY for us !! After a few days of feeling funny, I selected my own to take a pregnancy test while my husband Rob was at work. I was doing the test just to ease my mind and was NOT expecting the instant positive outcome that I ended up seeing!! After a couple of trips back to CVS and a number of more tests, there was no rejecting it. That day took place to be our “dating” anniversary so I got a card and taped a photo of the positive test on the back and signed it “love, mom and infant” so that when he turned the card over he would be just as shocked as I was!!
Our little lady is due in less than 2 months and while we were not trying and it was a big surprise for us after only being wed a year- we definitely can not wait to meet her!! I am SO delighted I concealed this camera and caught his reaction, priceless!
