This video provides a demonstration of how to perform an obstetric abdominal examination (a.k.a. examination of the pregnant abdomen) in an OSCE station. The guide shows how to palpate the fetus to determine fetal lie and presentation. We also cover how to measure the symphyseal-fundal height (SFH) and how to assess fetal engagement. Finally, we show how to use a Pinard stethoscope to listen to the fetal heartbeat.
