Adventures in Mommy Land: Pregnancy

Motherhood is an intriguing journey. I think that is something that every mom could agree on. It is full of ups and downs. Often motherhood is simply plain amusing even if it might not appear so at the time. It all starts with that BFP on a pregnancy test. At that point there are lots of emotions and ideas that might be going through your mind. You may enjoy, relieved, ecstatic, sad, baffled, and terrified. You may have been pursuing a month or for 5 years or this pregnancy might have been a mishap. Something is for sure, you either simply stuck a stick in your pee and had some splash back at your hand or you attempted to capture it in a cup and had some splash back and or spill out on your hand so that you might stick an HPT in it and wait for those two lines.

Yes motherhood begins by peeing on yourself. It might not be the last time it occurs either. Between jabs and kicks to the bladder and simply having a 5-10 lb weight resting on your bladder doesn’t precisely make it simple to hold all of it in. Aside from peeing on yourself there are many more excellent minutes in mommy-hood. There is that very first trimester period where you appear like you have a beer gut for two months and nobody thinks you’re pregnant. They simply assume you have actually gotten a little so they attempt to avoid stating anything even as you radiance with pride and try to stick it out even more. Pregnancy: the only time in a woman’s life where she is so ecstatic to display her stubborn belly pooch!

If you’re one of the lucky ones the first trimester will likewise bring projectile throwing up. I never truly comprehended why they called it morning illness. It can hit during the night, in the afternoon, in church, on a romantic date, and even in the middle of your first trimester trans-vaginal ultrasound. Once again, as you look awful and individuals ask in a very worried voice “are you ok?” because you look like you are about to die, you beam and state “I’m pregnant!” with a huge smile as if thrilled to be throwing up due to the fact that it lets you know that you are certainly pregnant. Yes it’s a wonderful time. I think that is the beauty of pregnancy. Any other time in your life the above circumstances would be awful but when you understand that they are just one step on this great journey of motherhood they are completely manageable.

I was fortunate. I had two fantastic pregnancies. I do believe that pregnancy is at least in part, what you make from it. Your outlook is a substantial contributor to how your pregnancy goes. I make certain that there are individuals who would argue with me on that and maybe they are right. I do not understand. I simply need to speak from my experience and the experiences of those around me. While I believe that I had a perfect and easy pregnancy both times and feel blessed that I did, that does not imply that they lacked the normal pregnancy symptoms and problems. With my child I tossed up nonstop, night and day, for 2 months. With my boy I was simply typically queezy for my whole pregnancy however I never threw up. In the third trimester of both my pregnancies my tail bone was so aching that moving from a seated position to standing was distressing. Still I could not have actually been better. I felt terrific! I was so fired up both times. I was especially excited about my brand-new boobs! They were big! I was a C cup to start so they quickly reached a DD by the start of my third trimester both times. My husband loved them too. I looked great! Well they would have looked much better if my tummy didn’t protrude even further than they did however I’ll take what I can get.

I pointed out that I thought my outlook contributed greatly to my pregnancy mood. I do believe that holds true and I really credit it to one thing: Hypnobabies. I did not just get up every day and choose I would be favorable. I believe that would have been more difficult some days. Rather I listened to my Hypnobabies pregnancy Affirmations track every day. I heard and stated things like “I love my pregnant body” “I am stunning” “I feel terrific” “I handle any challenge with ease” and other things like that. Hearing and saying them so frequently made me believe them. It was so ingrained in me that it became my reality.

Hypnobabies along with the book “Painless Giving birth” by Giuditta Tornetta made the biggest distinction in my pregnancies particularly my last one. I am a huge fan of hypnosis and meditation during pregnancy and beyond. Even now I have the Hypnobabies “After your baby comes” track which I call the “you’re a good mommy” track. I think that it really makes a difference. No matter what your pregnancy journey looks like. Take comfort that you are not alone in the hilarity, the battles, and the great pleasure. Attempt to take an action back and relax when you feel overloaded and reach out to other pregnant ladies or mommies who have actually existed. I highly recommend using a pregnancy hypnosis or meditation regimen. Hypnobabies is also a total childbirth education course that is designed to help ladies achieve a pain-free natural birth. It assisted me do it and I extremely advise it! Whatever your course is though, make sure that you keep your chin up, seek assistance when you need it, and take time to unwind EVERY DAY! Pleased Pregnancy, Delighted Birth!
