The Best Treatment for Infertility

In recent times, an increasing number of couples are going through the frustration and heartache of being unable to conceive naturally. Many fertility clinics are now mushrooming in almost every city of the world to address the problems of infertility and provide appropriate infertility treatment. A couple may be unable to conceive because of some infertility problems in the male or in the female. Unfortunately sometimes, couples fail to conceive without any problems or underlying conditions.

The causes of male infertility may be

• Azoospermia- This is a condition in which spermatozoa are not present in the seminal fluid.
• Low sperm motility – Sometimes, though enough sperm is present in the semen, they may not have the ability to move as required towards the egg. Sometimes low sperm count may also result in low sperm motility. This may also cause infertility
• Obstruction in reproductive tract
• Deficiency of certain hormones

Some causes of female infertility are:

• Endometriosis – This is a condition in which the endometrial cells of the uterus strive outside the cavity and in most cases on the membrane lining the abdomen.
• PCOS – Polycystic Ovarian syndrome is a common condition among women which may cause infertility in most women and even can cause other complications in pregnancy.
• Problems in ovulation – Irregular menstruation results in anovulation or too frequent ovulation which results in infertility.
• Poor quality of the egg.

Infertility treatments today offer lots of options. However most of these treatments are expensive and do not give a guaranteed success. The medical treatments do not work in some cases. In some other cases, they result in too many complications. Some medical treatments one can opt for are in-vitro fertilization which can also be tried when the cause of infertility is not known, frozen or fresh embryo transfer in which an embryo created in the laboratory is implanted in a woman’s uterus, treatments for hormones and surgery.

The escalating cost of these medical infertility treatments lead to most people not being able to afford them. This even leads to lot of frustration after years of effort and expense if the desired results are not seen. In case of infertility it is always advisable to try some natural remedies which have been successful in many cases. People with good experiences have also written books regarding the processes to be followed and the changes in lifestyle that can aid in the cure of infertility.

A proper diet needs to be implemented by the couple suffering from infertility. Some exercise like walking or yoga helps a lot in promoting fertility. There are some yoga videos which illustrate certain poses that could help the problem to an extent. Certain herbal treatments and alternative treatments like acupressure are also accessible nowadays. These natural methods are a safe way of treating infertility.
