How Well Does Tubal Reversal Work?

Common belief is that if a woman is ovulating and has her menstrual cycle she is able to become pregnant. Although some tubal reversal doctors do turn women away that are nearing the age of 40 years, this is not done at the leading center. Some surgeons believe that as long as a patient is well-informed they are able to make their own decision.

The study also shows that the type of tubal ligation performed has an effect on the outcome of pregnancy success. Those patients with rings and clips had a percentage rate in the high seventies. Those with ligation/resection had a success rate of sixty-six percent. The lowest percentage was Coagulation with twenty-nine percent.
