If you want to use this method, you have to invest in a thermometer. When determining the body temperature, best places to place the thermometer is in your mouth. You can also place it under your armpit.
Calendar method: this method requires you to record your menstrual cycle in a calendar. Since lengths of menstrual cycles vary from one month to the other, you should record your cycle for eight to 12 months.
The first day of your periods is your day one and the last day of the period is your last day. From the data generated, you will be able to know your ovulation day.
Cervical mucus method: during ovulation, you tend to have mucus in your vagina. The mucus is usually clear and slippery; it resembles raw egg whites.
In conclusion, to accurately track your fertility, it’s recommended that you use all of the three methods. This way you will easily tell when you are ovulating.
