The Discussing Ectopic Pregnancy series raises awareness about ectopic pregnancy through individual stories from women and males who have sustained the condition in their own words. In these candid videos, our fans speak freely about their experiences of ectopic pregnancy to reach out to others going through the same ordeal.

An ectopic pregnancy is a frightening and extreme experience. Females and partners feel overwhelmed and alone.

An ectopic pregnancy happens when a pregnancy implants outside of the uterus (womb). It affects 1 in 80 pregnancies and is a leading cause of death in early pregnancy.

The Ectopic Pregnancy Trust is passionate about raising awareness of the condition so that signs are known and can be determined early to make it possible for women to get the care that they require rapidly. We are also there to support through the psychological procedure of trying to get pregnant again and the frightening period of discovering whether a subsequent pregnancy is ectopic.

The Ectopic Pregnancy Trust is a small UK based charity that aims to supply information, education and assistance for those affected by ectopic pregnancy. The charity looks for to raise awareness about the condition so that the public are aware of signs to enable women to get treatment quickly; early medical diagnosis may enable some treatment choice that can be less intrusive, can lower psychological injury and maintain a lady’s fertility level. It ensures women and their households leave hospital with relevant details and have someone to speak with about their trauma. The Charity’s Patrons are Charlotte Crosby, Phil Cairns, Michelle Gayle, Amanda Redman MBE and Susan Penhaligon.
