Pregnancy Dancing – Week by Week

Infertility issues have proven to be a growing concern in men and women.

This is partially due to couples waiting longer to start a family, and as we age, our reproduction system slows down. It’s also due to unhealthy lifestyles that we may or may not have any control over.

For instance, you have a choice to exercise, eat healthy, stop smoking and maintain a healthy weight but you don’t have control over air pollution, chemicals from plastic products, pesticides, or all the elements in your shampoo and beauty supplies which enter through your skin and change your hormonal balance.

You and your spouses infertility and normal reproduction system are affected by seemingly simple lifestyle choices.

If you are having difficulty conceiving, how can you conquer infertility?

First, a conscious effort to take control of your reproductive function by living a healthy lifestyle is crucial. This can upgrade your fertility and greatly increase your chances of having a baby by making seeming small healthy changes in your lifestyle.

A good start is healthy eating. Fertility foods will nourish your body and prepare your system for pregnancy. A good analogy, I always like to use, is planting a garden. If you are not feeding the soil the necessary nutrients it needs, providing sunshine and water on a continuous basis, the seeds will not take hold and flourish. Our bodies work the same way. In today’s environment, with all the pesticides, chemicals and hormones used in our food and water treatments, it makes good sense to watch the foods you ingest and make an effort to choose the foods that will benefit you.

A healthy fertility diet contains the freshest, healthiest organic foods. The mainstays of a couples diet should be fresh fruits, leafy green vegetables, seeds and nuts, beans, fish and a small amount of dairy products. It’s eating like the pioneers ate – fresh grown foods untainted by chemicals and pesticides.

Consuming a lot of processed foods will not provide the necessary fertility nutrients needed to have a baby. Fast foods are low in vitamin B complex and essential minerals.

Diet alone is often not enough to conquer infertility. Many infertility issues are caused by a hormonal imbalance which can often be corrected with herbal therapy or herbs for infertility.

Popular herbs used to treat female infertility include vitex agnus-castus, false unicorn roots, red clover, licorice, sarsaparilla, thistle, wild yam and black cohosh. These herbs are used to provided nutrients for the uterus, regulate hormones, regulate the menstrual cycle and increase libido.

Common herbs prescribed to men to boost fertility are panax ginseng, sarsaparilla, astragalus and saw palmetto. These are helpful to increase sperm count and motility and balance and regulate male hormones.

It is recommended to seek advice from a reputable herbalist or someone who has had extensive training and experience with infertility herbs. Herbs are extremely powerful and you should always inform your practitioner or fertility specialist of the herbal therapy your engaged in.

Keep in mind, today’s modern fertility drugs have been derived from the compounds found in natures herbs. When taken responsibly and complimented with a healthy fertility diet, you will be pregnant sooner than you think!
