Top 4 Pregnancy Annoyances.
There are many things that are going to annoy you during your pregnancy but we have gathered together a list of the top four that we feel are the most annoying to deal with, but deal with them you can.
Backache.
With backache it’s generally the lower back that is affected during pregnancy. This happens because when you get pregnant your hormones change which in turn affects the muscles tissues making them more relaxed, add this to the weight of your pregnancy bump, this all puts added strain on the back area and its muscle structure. Back pain during pregnancy comes in two types, pelvic pain, which you feel around your bottom area and on the sides of your thighs, the other is lumber which you will feel all around you middle lower back area. You can help the situation by making sure that you do not stand or sit for long periods of time. Whilst sleeping use a pregnancy support pillow which will help with your sleeping position.
Crying.
Crying is OK but when pregnant you may well feel as though you are crying for no reason at all, this is all down to hormones again. This is usually apparent in the early stages of pregnancy. The best way cope with this would be to make sure all around you, your friends and family know to that you are feeling weepy at the moment, and just let them know that it will pass.
Sleepless nights.
This is very common amongst women particularly in their first trimester. It generally happens when you have gone to sleep, then you get woken up and it is then that you will find it difficult to get back to sleep. You will find that you will be constantly woken up during the night with the need to go to the toilet, it’s then that you might find it difficult to get back to sleep. Other things that can wake you up is the fact that you get too hot during the night, to help with this situation make sure that your room is well ventilated and kept to a temperature that you are comfortable with.
Twitchy legs.
A great deal of pregnant women suffer from this otherwise known as restless leg syndrome, it’s the feeling in your legs that you just cannot get comfortable no matter what you do with them. It mainly happens whilst in bed and trying to get to sleep, some experts feel that it could be some kind of deficiency in your current diet that causes this. There have been several studies on this subject and it would appear as though iron deficiency may play a part in this uncomfortable syndrome.
